The Power of Community
Many of our fellow Filipinos are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as current political events happening all over the country. In our small way, we would like to help out by linking to their GoFundMe, Kickstarter or donation pages, so YOU, in your own way, can also help the community either by donating or sharing their pages with your network.

Repairs to Bagnet Restaurant
“Last night, we got the heartbreaking news that her restaurant in Panorama City was vandalized during the monumental protests, fighting for Black Lives. While merchandise can be replaced, Black Lives lost to police brutality are forever gone. We are alive & safe, while the victims of Institutional Racism are not. We fight for the lives of George Floyd & many more, in hopes of a safer future for our black children, family & friends. “
Bebot Community Kitchen To Serve The Community
“With the hard times that have fallen many of our underserved and at-risk communities, we’ve decided to step up and shift our priorities to our neighbors and those in need. Working with local organizers we’ve seen requests for food assistance TRIPLE in the past few weeks and what started out as a small project out of our own pockets has grown to something that could use your help.”
Executive Order Bar Looting Damage Recovery Fund
“Executive Order Bar & Lounge is a local, Filipino-American / Person-of-Color -owned, small business on Mission & Jessie West St in San Francisco, located on the street level of the Westfield San Francisco Shopping Centre in the SOMA/Yerba Buena district, nestled between the Moscone Convention Center and Market Street. We are one of the first large, high-profile Filipino-American-owned small businesses in what the City of San Francisco had designated the SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural District.”
LASA Pamilya Staff Relief Fund
“To our dear LASA Pamilya L.A. & Beyond,
We are in need of your support.
The COV-ID 19 pandemic has taken a toll on many restaurants in the country. Especially, small independently run family run shops like ours. Delivery and take-out can only do so much to keep us going. Unfortunately, we had to abruptly shut down operations and were forced to lay off the majority of our staff.”
Magna Kusina Staff Fund
“On August 15th 2019, my own dream to open a restaurant dedicated to Filipino food and culture opened it’s doors. For anyone who has known me, knows that this dream has been around for many, many years and after so much hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and laughter, we were able to make the dream become a reality.”
Keep Filipino Food in Dallas
“Marie’s Kitchen here in Dallas has been open during the beginning of this pandemic and has currently been struggling to stay open. We are the only Filipino restaurant in Dallas, and want to continue to cater to those who enjoy our food during this hard time. Being such a small business, we did not receive any help from the government, which made things much more challenging for us. Because we are low on funds, it is harder for us to pay for supplies, ingredients, rent, taxes, etc. Any amount of help will be greatly appreciated. We will get through this together stronger and better!!”
